Monument houses creative people from varying fields — our residents include working artists and performers, academics, designers, engineers and CEOs.
We are always seeking people who value different viewpoints, are excited by the opportunities that the space presents, and care to contribute to the space in a meaningful way.
We have 22 private bedrooms/workspaces with shared bathrooms on the second floor. We also have two large studios with their own private bathroom and kitchenette.
On the first floor is our living room that doubles as a training space and 400+ person event space. Our communal kitchen includes both private and shared pantry, fridge, and freezer space. Other amenities currently include a movie room, music/game room, wood shop, crafts room, home gym, sauna and laundry room.
Monument is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk to the Civic Center BART and Muni stations, grocery stores like Costco and Trader Joe’s, and multiple bars and restaurants.
